NTT Communications' Global Data VPN is No. 1 In Customer Satisfaction for the fifth consecutive time
NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT (NYSE: NTT) Group, announced today that its Arcstar Universal One global VPN service received a No.1 Customer Satisfaction designation from the UK marketing services firm Ocean82, Ltd. for the fifth time. The selection, which is based on predicted organic growth and overall customer satisfaction, was published recently in "Voice of the Customer: Global Data VPN, Issue 20," a benchmarking report.
According to Janet Watkin CEO of Ocean82, "Results from Ocean82's independent global benchmarking study of customer satisfaction with data VPN & hybrid networks reveal NTT Com is rated as the best-in-class global operator. Monitoring global service providers, to determine who is considered to be the most successful overall is fused into the methodology which weights perceived performance according to what matters most to service users."
This is the fifth time NTT Com has won this separate award. NTT Com also received Gold Awards for outstanding performance in 7 categories, including Network Reliability, Network Availability, Secure Data Transfer, No Hidden Extras in Bills, Accurate Bills, Long Term Relationship and Bills in Currency of Choice.
Ocean82 evaluated customer satisfaction of eight global telecom operators, the others being AT&T, BT, Orange Business, T-Systems, Telefonica, Verizon and Vodafone Global Enterprise. The methodology involved interviewing decision-makers, influencers and end users at more than 1,000 multinational companies. The report considered major categories of customer service and 32 related service attributes.
NTT Com continues to expand its NFV-enabled cloud networking services to realize cost savings by eliminating unnecessary equipment at the customer premise. On a management side, NTT Com's initiative includes Business Portal and API development, along with Global Management One, a globally available ICT Management Service for greater operational reliability and agility for customers.
